Aced it! Tutoring

Hand in Hand. All the Way to Success.

About

About Us

We are currently in our third-year at York University, pursuing both a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in French Studies, and a Concurrent Bachelor of Education degree.  We both attended French Immersion elementary school and French Immersion high school and received our French certificate at the high school level.  We are extremely passionate about language learning and recognize the importance of it in our schools and everyday lives.

It is for this reason we created Aced It! Tutoring, to help students achieve their academic goals and challenge themselves by providing support and motivation throughout their academic journey and beyond.

Students will develop a new set of strategies and find an inner-confidence with our academic support. We help students reach their fullest potential by setting individual goals and creating a plan to achieve them!

Recommendations

“As a parent who is not a French speaker, it was very difficult to help my daughter with her homework. She was struggling and started to lose motivation, until I decided  to send her to Aced it! Tutoring Services. They have tremendously helped my daughter with her French language skills and made an incredible impact on her! I have seen significant improvement reflected in her grades. Not only did her grades improve, but she found a passion and love for the French language. She was happy to learn and that was the most important thing to me!"

Brianna

Brianna is a third-year university student at York University. She is majoring in French Studies as well as completing her Bachelor of Education in the concurrent program.

Having completed multiple short novels, poetry collections and excerpts, Brianna has always had a passion for languages and is fluent in both English and French. She has been teaching in various settings throughout her high school and university career. Brianna completed her co-op under her elementary school teachers. This consisted of her creating, teaching and evaluating grade 4, 7 and 8 students in French, English and Visual Arts. She has also had many part time jobs in the teaching field, including working at certified and well-known tutoring centres!

Not only is education important, but a sense of peer mentorship and a support system is equally as important to her in a students success journey. Brianna wishes to guide and motivate her students on a path that will allow them to continue to succeed well past their educational road.
